There is nothing quite like the feeling of holding a new book in your hands and running your fingers over the crisp pages. Don’t get me wrong, I love audiobooks too, but there’s something infinitely comforting about curling up in a cozy corner with good, old-fashioned paper and ink.
I want all of my readers to be able to experience that feeling, which is why two of my most popular series are now available as large print books.
Large print books have held a special place in libraries and bookstores for decades because they’re easy to read. If you have trouble seeing small print but love to read, or if you just need a bigger font size to reduce eyestrain, these books are for you.
Why Large Print Books?
Large print books are usually associated with seniors and people with visual impairments, but readers of all ages (and eyeglass prescriptions) read them too!
In addition to having a larger font size, large print books use font style, line spacing, and contrast to make reading easier for people with dyslexia, those learning a second language, or even people who need help reading text while on a treadmill.
Plus, turning pages more often can cause many to read faster. I’m in favor of anything that allows you to read more books!
My Large Print Titles
If you’re looking for sweet romance in an easy-to-read format, come to Hickory Grove, IN and Birch Harbor, MI!
These quaint towns hearken back to a simpler time—when “a night on the town” meant visiting the ice cream parlor on Main Street or attending a church social.
Join these larger-than-life characters as they find new love, rekindle old flames, and uncover long-held family secrets. The same sweet stories, now in large print!
Hickory Grove
Located just minutes from the Kentucky border, Hickory Grove may not have a bustling nightlife (or even a chain restaurant), but that’s just how the locals like it.
Honoring the family traditions of the past has become a way of life for the residents of this sleepy town. But you can’t stop the wheels of change forever. As each of the characters in the Hickory Grove series are looking for ways to move forward, they find themselves being called by the secrets of their past.
The books in this series can be read by themselves, but I think they’re better when read back-to-back!
Birch Harbor
The town of Birch Harbor, Michigan is perfectly situated on the shores of Lake Huron. Lakeside “beaches,” family-owned businesses, and—in the center of it all—the Hannigan sisters.
The death of the family matriarch brings up a lot of conflicting emotions; grief mingled with confusion and anger. As family dynamics are untangled, secrets come to light and the Hannigan sisters must learn what it means to let go of the hurts of the past to move forward into the future.
