Harbor Hills
About the Series
The peaceful town of Harbor Hills, Michigan is the perfect place to settle down, raise a family, and enjoy a nice quiet life.
That’s what the residents of Apple Hill Lane hope, anyway. Their days are filled with a typical 9-5 job on the Main Street of this Detroit suburb, followed by a simple night at home on their quiet cul-de-sac.
It’s not the type of place where you’re likely to find secrets or mystery. After all, Harbor Hills is where everyone knows their neighbor…or do they?
Quinn, Annette, Beverly, and Judith have each settled into life on Apple Hill Lane, but there’s more than a few secrets lurking behind closed doors.
The first installment, The House On Apple Hill Lane, finds newcomer Quinn Whittle in her new home on a new street, in a new town. She’s purchased the home sight unseen, unaware that there might be a few “skeletons in the closet.”
The mysteries go deeper in The House With the Blue Front Door, as reporter Beverly Castle begins to harbor suspicions about their new neighbor. But there’s another mystery brewing on Apple Hill Lane, one that lies a bit closer to home.
In The House Around the Corner, a shocking new discovery shakes Annette Best’s world. Having side-stepped scandal so far, she soon finds it right in her own backyard…literally. Will her friends and neighbors manage to keep this secret behind closed doors?
Things finally come to a breaking point in The House That Christmas Made. Quinn, Annette, Beverly, and Jude kick off the holiday season, but each of them is holding an icy secret that threatens to disrupt the peace.
Although the ladies of Apple Hill Lane are as different as can be, their friendship is built on a strong foundation. It’s not that these four women go out looking for drama, it’s just that it always seems to end up on their doorstep….
Through thick and thin, scandals and secrets, Quinn, Annette, Beverly and Jude must juggle a series of mysteries—about each other, but mostly about themselves.
The Victorian and Colonial architecture of Harbor Hills makes for a picture-perfect backdrop to watch the secrets of Apple Hill Lane unfold. Small-town secrets, female friendship, and heartwarming romance make for a captivating read that you won’t be able to put down!
More About the Series
Harbor Hills is fictional, but it doesn’t feel that way to me! Growing up, my family would spend the summer in my aunt and uncle’s home (on Apple Hill Lane!) in the suburbs of Michigan. Anyone who’s been to the towns of Rochester or Romeo will recognize the tree-lined streets and classic Americana that gives life to the pages of Harbor Hills.
I adored every day spent strolling down Main Street, picking cherries right from the tree, and breathing in the atmosphere of charming small-town life. While I can’t turn back the clock, I can still take a trip down memory lane each time I visit Harbor Hills.
I hope you find it as heartwarming as I do!
