Brambleberry Creek
About the Series
Nestled within the rolling hills of Kentucky, Brambleberry Creek is an idyllic farm town where the door is always open, the tea is always sweet, and you can always count on your family…or can you?
Led by matriarch Essie, the tight-knit Coyles have worked the family farm for generations. Their days are filled with honest work, down-home cooking, and plenty of love for each other. But family secrets are bubbling beneath the surface.
The Brambleberry Creek series follows the life and times of the Coyle family, starting with Home to Brambleberry Creek.
After learning of her estranged grandmother’s stroke, Morgan Jo comes home to the family farm for the first time in years. Though she still feels the pain of the incident that wrenched the two women apart, Morgan must do what it takes to heal old wounds and stitch the family together again.
The second installment in the series, Second Chances at the House By the Creek, follows Amber Lee Taylor as she tries to repair the damage of a disastrous relationship. Coming back home to the family estate feels like the best way to put the pieces of her life back together, but her cousin, Morgan Jo, has a few ideas up her sleeve.
As Amber enters into a new stage of her life, romance shows up on her doorstep. Can she find time for both, or will the secrets of the past finally catch up to her?
Then, in Secrets In the House by the Creek, Morgan stumbles upon a long-held secret, causing her to question her own identity and forcing her to face her own past head-on.
While Morgan and Amber are as different as cousins can be, they each have a role to play in mending rifts within the family and bringing long-buried truths to light.
But as the two women come to learn, healing from past wounds isn’t always easy. Family dynamics can be as tough to handle as a Kentucky racehorse, which means that romance is always a welcome distraction.
As mysteries are uncovered and truths are revealed, the Coyles must learn what it means to forgive—and to love—with your whole heart.
“Bramble” might be a small town, but it’s filled with big personalities and the timeless concepts of forgiveness, family legacy, and whether you can ever really go home again.
So what are you waiting for? Grab a sweet tea and dive into the wholesome romance of Brambleberry Creek.
More About the Series
Like most of the locations in my books, Brambleberry Creek is a fictional town but it’s based on my own family history. My dad’s family lived just outside of Louisville, KY and several of the characters in these pages are (loosely) based on members of my own family.
I have warm memories of days spent by the creek picking blackberries and I wanted to convey that sense of peace and contentment. They say “you can’t go home again,” but I find that every time I pick up a Brambleberry Creek book, I’m transported back to my ancestral home in Kentucky.
I hope you find as much to love here as I do!
